Home Sweet Home has enjoyed a sterling reputation within the community for delivering outstanding care and is well respected by all stakeholders in the company including clients, referral partners and payors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cWe welcome Home Sweet Home to the PurposeCare family as our first Michigan-based agency supporting our continued growth and expansion throughout the Midwest,\u201d says PurposeCare chief executive officer, Rich Keller.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The acquisition will provide additional depth to PurposeCare\u2019s suite of home health care services. PurposeCare, a portfolio company of Lorient Capital, provides home based care services to more than 3,000 clients a week. The company\u2019s primary audience are individuals who are dually eligible for Medicare and Medicaid. The PurposeCare platform is focused on leveraging the caregiver\u2019s presence in the home to identify changes in its client\u2019s condition, enabling a timely clinical intervention from the nurses and therapists on the PurposeCare team. With the acquisition of Home Sweet Home, PurposeCare will expand their services to an additional 400 patients and more than 300 caregivers.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cWe are thrilled to join the PurposeCare family as their mission and principles align well with ours,\u201d says Eric Pumfery, chief executive officer and founder of Home Sweet Home. \u201cBeing part of something bigger during a time when home care is becoming a significant portion of the healthcare landscape is very exciting.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Home Sweet Home was represented by Mertz Taggart, who provided exclusive M&amp;A advisory services in connection with this transaction.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>PurposeCare is excited to bring its portfolio of companies under one brand and one mission.
